Dishwasher New Builder Rough-In Install

This installation package is intended for a customer that does not have an existing dishwasher, but has the builder rough in available for one to be installed. Review installation with the customer at the start of work. Unbox, removing packaging and inspect the unit for visible damage. Disconnect existing dishwasher. Install shut off valve, supply line and any other minor plumbing and electrical as required up to existing branch wiring & plumbing source found near the point of install. Materials that are included are as follows: Electrical cable, Waterline – 3/8” minimum copper tubing, Hand shut-off valve, Air gap for drain hose plumbing if applicable, Drain hose if needed, Screw type hose clamps. Prepare appropriate drilling if side mounting is necessary and possible as per manufacture specifications. Installation of the new dishwasher into the existing opening and hook up to plumbing and electrical as per manufacture specifications. Installer will supply and install a new standard dishwasher supply line if one does not already come with the unit. Ensure the dishwasher is properly grounded, turn on water and check all connections, pumps, seals etc. Test for final operation of the unit ensure all controls and accessories are working properly.
