Description
Review installation with customer at start of work. Inspect the unit for visible damage. Check clearance to combustibles, ensuring the appliance will be suitable to meet manufacture specifications and or local building code minimums. Terminate gas service from the shut off valve, disconnect and cap gas appliance. Disconnect electrical supply. Connect the gas service to the new appliance and ensure an adequate working ventilation system is present. Includes supply and install of standard 4ft SS gas flex connector. Install anti-tip bracket if supplied with appliance. Ensure all accessories (grates, pans, racks, burner caps, etc.) are installed on the appliance. Connect electrical supply. Turn on gas service and check for leaks. Test gas appliance by activating and monitoring all surface burner elements, all broiler, oven, or interior heating elements, all controls, accessories (clock, timer, settings, etc.), all ventilation connections (check exterior wall cap for debris), oven door, storage drawer, accessories, and ensure all burner elements are adjusted accordingly to display proper flame characteristics. Final clean up of job-site.
